Version 2026-06-20 · governing law: United Arab Emirates.
Clearlet is operated by [parent company], a licensed UAE property business, acting as data controller. This policy explains how we handle personal data under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
Contact and identity details (phone number, name, optional email), property and tenancy information you provide, documents you upload (e.g. title deeds, contracts), your WhatsApp messages with our assistant, payment metadata (we never store full card numbers), and, where you use money-handling services, KYC information.
To provide and improve the service, process payments and issue VAT invoices, send service messages and (on paid plans) reminders, meet legal and AML obligations, and provide support. Conversations are recorded to maintain your records; this is disclosed at first contact.
We process data to perform our contract with you, to meet legal obligations, and on the basis of your consent where required. Where you provide a tenant’s contact number, it is used only to invite that tenant to connect and is minimised until they opt in.
Personal data and documents are hosted in the UAE region. Sensitive documents are encrypted and delivered via time-limited secure links. Access is role-limited and audited.
Records are retained for the applicable regulatory period (at least five years for regulated records). You may hide documents from your view; nothing regulated is deleted before its retention expires.
Subject to PDPL, you may request access, correction, or erasure of your personal data, balanced against our legal-retention obligations. Submit a request via the contact channel below; we track and respond to each request.
For privacy queries or data-subject requests, contact us on WhatsApp or at [privacy@clearlet…]. [Contact and DPO details to be confirmed.]
